As Packers and Pittsburgh fans gather to cheer their teams on to victory in this year’s Super Bowl, something much more sinister than the wearing of cheese or the snapping of “terrible towels” is occurring behind the scenes. Unbeknownst to many viewers, the Super Bowl sees a spike in sex-trafficking of children and teenagers every year. This happens whenever there’s a convergence of huge numbers of people around one location, and authorities in Texas are gearing up to intervene.
